How do I make a request?

Requests must be made in the form specified by the Chief Secretary and information about making a request, including an online request form, is available on the Isle of Man Government website.

If you would prefer to submit a manual application form, these are available from the public authority.

If you are not sure about making a request you should contact the public authority as it has a duty to give reasonable advice and assistance at all stages of a request. 

In some cases the public authority may need to ask for additional information from you to clarify your request or to prove that you are resident, if it does not reasonably believe that to be the case.

If you do not respond within 28 days, the public authority is not obliged to respond to your request or issue a refusal notice to you.
