Manner of compliance
An applicant may specify a preference for receiving the information by a particular means and an authority must, where reasonably practicable (including taking cost into account), give effect to that preference. If the authority decides it is not practicable, it must inform the applicant of the reasons.
The particular means of supply are:
- copy in a permanent form or another form acceptable to the applicant
- provision of a digest or summary
- opportunity to inspect a record containing the information
