Data protection and a 'No Deal' Brexit

The UK Government Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has issued guidance for businesses about data protection if there is no Brexit deal in September 2018. In addition, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 will require amendments following the UK's departure from the European Union without a deal and this was announced in its document: Amendments to UK data protection law in the event the UK leaves the EU without a deal on 29 March 2019.
